The Catholic Diocese of Yei announced that two seminarians will be ordained deacons next month.
Comboni Missionary Phillip Andruga and seminarian Mude Pascal are to be ordained deacons by Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe on May 15, Vocations Sunday, in the cathedral of Yei, Easter Radio reported.Secretary general Fr. Emmanuel Lodongo, who made the announcement on Sunday, asked the faithful to pray for the two seminarians so that they may be good examples like Jesus the good shepherd.
The ordination to the diaconate is the first step towards the priesthood.
