A team from Central Equatoria finance ministry is in Yei River County today to evaluate its management.
Acting director for the ministry of finance Lokudu Jambo Mabe said the team is in the county to scrutinize the results from the training conducted last year for the staff and local financial management activities, Easter Radio reported.He said the evaluation was important adding that it will enable the county to improve the system of the revenue collection and its management.
Mr. Jambo added that in Kajo Keji County citizens still use foreign currency and the ministry wanted to know whether it was the same in Yei so that the local administration is advised according to the rules and financial regulations of the State.
