The reorganizing of police forces across Greater Bahr el Ghazal concluded its two-day exercise in Tonj South County today.
Major general Adriano L. Edward said the exercise was meant to know the number of the police forces in the new country to be borne on July 9, Don Bosco FM reported.He added that the exercise will involve everybody, including absentees and dead, and it will end its mission in Lakes State after covering Warrap, Northern Bahr el Ghazal and Western Bahr el Ghazal states.
Mr. Edward said logistical problems and fuel shortages are the current problems in the police reorganization work and did not allow the team to visit every centre.
Mr. Edward noted that cattle raiding is the major problem the police faces in the region.
