GoSS Ministry of General Education has developed a universal school registers pilot program that will be launched in two states of South Sudan.
Michael Milly Hussein said the program will record admissions, classes and teachers’ attendance.He added that the program will be updated before launching in 2012 for the rest of states.
Dr. Milly said the registers were crucial to improving the quality and accuracy of data collections.
He added that it was very important to decentralize the Education Management Information System and strengthen the states to collect accurate data.
The minister said it was significant to bring the data collection systems to county levels.
