ALFRED LADU GORE EXPECTED TO RUN AS INDEPENDENT FOR CENTRAL EQUATORIA GOVERNOR

GoSS presidential adviser Alfred Ladu Gore is expected to run as an independent candidate for the governorship of Central Equatoria State after the SPLM Political Bureau endorsed the current governor Clement Wani Konga as its official candidate to the executive post.

Mr. Gore was among the eight candidates who contested to run in the SPLM ticket for Central Equatoria governorship.

Mr. Ladu spent the day in a series of meetings with other candidates who were left out from the SPLM ticket in order to negotiate their support.

A source told SCR News Mr. Ladu also consulted the Judiciary.

Alfred Ladu Gore is GoSS Presidential Advisor on Diplomatic Affairs and a SPLA’s Lt. general.
