The fifth Comprehensive Peace Agreement celebrations take place tomorrow in Yambio contrary to rumours that the event has been postponed for the second time, an official said.

Western Equatoria State Deputy Governor and Minister for Information and Communication, Joseph Ngere Paciko, told journalists yesterday that rumours about the postponement of the CPA fest were √É’baseless and without a credible source’, and meant to create confusion amongst the citizens, Gurtong website reported.

Mr. Ngere added that President Omar Hassan al-Bashir and First Vice President Salva Kiir Mayardit are expected to take part in the celebrations at Yambio stadium.

Mr. al-Bashir and Mr. Kiir will also flag off the start of several development projects including roads, a bank, and insurance and water companies.
