The SPLM candidate for governorship of Southern Kordofan has encouraged the citizens of the state to choose fairly and correctly during the upcoming election due on May.
Abdulaziz Alhilu told the crowds during his first campaign raly in Kadugli that the people of Southern Kordofan need justice, dignity and freedom.The rally was attended by thousands of people from different parts of the state, Voice of Peace Radio reported.
Mama Rabecca Nyandeng, GoSS presidential adviser on gender, and Speaker James Wani were also present at the rally in Kadugli.
Mama Rabecca said southerners have left the issues of rubbish and ironing for the Arabs and the Nubians should do the same.
She encouraged the people of Nuba to follow in the footsteps of their fallen hero Yusif Kuwa and the southerners who have voted massively for session in a referendum in January 2011.
