Pius Subek, himself a candidate for the post of Central Equatoria Governor, told SCR News that citizens clearly oppose Mr. Konga’s candidacy.
Dr. Subek criticized Mr. Konga’s management of public resources.
He said Mr. Konga has shown on several times that he is a weak leader and he could not strengthen security in the state.
Dr Subek also reiterated the increased rate of corruption cases which have derailed the development of the state due to poor leadership.
