Unidentified thieves have broken into the library of the Catholic University of the Sudan, in Juba, and stole 24 plastic chairs and six tables used by students in the facility.
Catholic University Librarian, Emmanuel Lomoro, told SCR News that robbers stole the furniture during the weekend and left the library door closed.

Mr. Lomoro added that burglars might have used a master key to open the library’s padlocks.

This was the third time thieves broke into the Catholic University premises.

A month back unknown robbers stole a jerry can of fuel from the generator room.

On another occasion, a night guardian prevented robbers to break into the university’s computer lab.

The Catholic University in Sudan in Juba is operating for the second year in the premises of Comboni Secondary School.

However, the Administration of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba asked the Catholic University to vacate the premises at the end of the current academic year.
