GOSS PRESIDENT URGES VOTERS TO CHOOSE WISELY IN APRIL

The President of the Government of Southern Sudan has called on all Sudanese to choose wisely their representatives in April general elections.President Salva Kiir Mayardit called on the Sudanese not elect leaders based on favouritism, tribalism and nepotism.

Mr. Kiir said that citizens must elect leaders who will stand for their objectives and to complete the implementation of the CPA.

He added that the responsibility of security belongs to all citizens and should not be left to the government alone.

Mr. Kiir saidany civilian who comes across unusual ways of behaviour in any corner of the region should report it to the concerned agencies for investigation.

GoSS President made these declarations yesterday while delivering his New Year message through the press at his office in Juba.
