RUNNER FOR CENTRAL EQUATORIA GOVERNORSHIP READY TO SUBMIT CANDIDACY

A GoSS presidential adviser is ready to submit his candidacy for the post of governor in Central Equatoria state saying he has collected the necessary supporting signatures.

Alfred Lodu Gore, GoSS Presidential Adviser for Diplomatic Affairs, told SCR News that he is handing in tomorrow to the SPLM Secretariat his candidature for the governorship of Central Equatoria.

He said he is about to finish collecting the signatures he needs to support his candidacy.

Mr Lodu added that the citizens of Central Equatoria are ready to choose a new governor to transform again the state into the powerhouse of Southern Sudan.

Mr. Lodu said that he and his team are ready to carry the burden of the state for the success of Central Equatoria.

Journalist Alfred Taban and MP Alikaya Aligo Samson indicated that they too want to run for the governorship of Central Equatoria in the SPLM ticket.
