CHINA SAYS IT ACCEPTS ANY DECISION SOUTHERN SUDAN WILL TAKE IN 2011

The People’s Republic of China said that it will accept any decision southern Sudanese will take in the 2011 referendum for self determination.

Talking to journalists at Juba International Airport, the Presidential Adviser on Diplomatic Affairs of the Government of Southern Sudan (GOSS), Mr. Alfred Ladu Gore, said that China welcomes any decision that Southern Sudanese will take in 2011.

Mr. Ladu was speaking at Juba International Airport upon his arrival from a two week’s visit to the People’s Republic of China.

He said that the GOSS delegation and the Chinese government discussed issues of bilateral concern for both Southern Sudan and China. He also added that China is willing to invest in southern Sudan.
