The Catholic Archbishop of Juba is blessing tomorrow a new chapel in Sacred Heart parish, in Kworijik Luri.
Fr. Peter Karlo Nafuoni, parish priest of Sacred Heart, told SCR news that his parish is celebrating this year’s Christmas with a new chapel dedicated to the Annunciation.
Fr. Nafuini said that the opening of a new chapel is a pride and a victory of faith.
He called upon all the faithful to be committed and serious to their duties in order that new churches and parishes might be established in the Archdiocese.
Sacred Heart parish has over 30 prayer centres, but only six have so far been officially recognized as chapels and dedicated to patron saints.
