The paramount chief of Juba County has affirmed that traditional cultures respect human rights and wrongdoers, especially the literate, take the lead in violating human rights.
Denis Deramallo Fundi blamed particular clans that are naturally fierce for contributing to the violation of human rights in Southern Sudan.He added that the literate have also taken the lead in the violation of human rights in southern Sudan.
Paramount Chief Deramallo made these comments during a chiefs’ conference organized by the Southern Sudan Human Rights Commission that started today.
