Eastern Equatoria state ministry of Agriculture is hosting a three-day Agricultural Show since yesterday in Torit.
The event was to take place on November 22, but was interrupted by the Sudan Catholic Bishop’s Conference Plenary Meeting, Radio Emmanuel reported.
The exhibition started with a beautiful and colorful exhibition of farmers’ produce.
Speaking at the launch of the show, Eastern Equatoria State governor Aloisio Emor Ojetuk, assured the citizens that such a function has not been held elsewhere in South Sudan.
He said not even the Government of Southern Sudan has ever organized an event of the kind to promote Agriculture in the region.
