Central Equatoria police commissioner said this morning that the recruitment and training of more police officials will help reduce the number of crimes and insecurity up to zero level.

Talking to Bakhita Radio, Nicola Dimo Biajo said the police authorities learned that the town is growing and expanding, adding that the expansions in the area need additional powers so as to cover the whole area.

Last Saturday, Central Equatoria graduated about 500 police in Yei.

Today Mr. Dimo confirmed that 150 of the graduates have been posted to the police headquarter in Juba while the rests were distributed to the six counties of Central Equatoria.

The police chief asked the graduates to maintain discipline and cooperate with the citizens.
