The Secretary of Tonj Land Committee, Gabriel Majok, said second and third class plots of land are being prepared to be given to the returnees, Don Bosco FM reported.
He added that the people who where evacuated form their plots by the government will be awarded next.
Mr. Majok also apologized to the land applicants for the sudden evacuation and urged them to be patient and cooperate to facilitate the land allocation process.
The Catholic Radio Network (CRN) is a media project constituted by community-based radio stations broadcasting in Frequency Modulation from Juba, Yei, Torit, Yambio, Rumbek, Tonj, Wau, and Malakal.
