Commissioner of Tonj East in Warrap State, John Deng Kook, conducted peaceful disarmament in and got seven hundred guns from civilians who agreed on the peace conference made in the county.

The commissioner assures the community about the disarmament procedures across the eleven Payams of Tonj East which is still following the ongoing exercise, Don Bosco Radio reported.

Commissioner Deng appeals to the community that they will be free from arms this year and that he is almost ending up with his disarmament process.

Deng called on every educated person to advise his relatives to handover the guns to the government.

The commissioner made these remarks to Don Bosco Radio through phone call on Tuesday in Tonj.
