National Bureau of Standards in Western Bhar El Ghazal State burned to ashes different types of expired goods at Ngolembo over the weekend.
Director of National Bureau, Francis Ibrahim, explains that they found these expired goods in Wau and Jou markets, Voice of Hope Radio reported.
He added that some time bad storage system and lack of monitoring led to damage of the items.
Ibrahim urges business community to monitor the production expiry date of goods before storing them.
He warns wholesalers not to sell expired goods, and failure to do that will leads to punishment.
The official made this remarks to Voice of Hope Radio at National Bureau of Standards in Wau.
