Speaking to Bakhita Radio, Father Erkolano Lodu Tombe, Champlain of the Terekeka youth and assistant parish priest, said the celebration was preceded with a day of adoration and retreat.
Fr. Lodu advised the youth of Terekeka to imitate the life of Saint Benjamin, their patron saint.
He called on the youth of Terekeka to be a symbol of unity among the communities as Saint Benjamin used to be.
Fr. Lodu recalled forgiveness and reconciliation as fundamental for unity among human beings.
The day was celebrated under the theme “Unity among the youth of Saint Mary the Immaculate Parish.”
