Central Equatoria faces numerous cattle and land grabbing challenges

Authorities of Central Equatoria say the state is facing numerous challenges, ranging from roaming cattle, illegal occupation of state government buildings and land grabbing.

State Information Minister, Andruga Mabe Saverio said that cattle could be seen roaming across the entire Central Equatoria region, Bakhita Radio reported.

He says the government of Central Equatoria strongly condemns in the term the presence and movement of cattle in the state.

Flora Gabriel Loro, State Minister of Housing, Land, and Public Utilities, describes the land issues of insecurity and land grabbers in Central Equatoria as a virus.

Modern Approach Company project manager, Nuredin Mithani says their management has launched the Equator Bank to offer services to all government institutions in the state.

The officials were speaking at the weekly forum of the state ministry of Information in Juba on Tuesday.
