Sudan and South Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference or SSSCBC on Wednesday launched the logo and the motto of the visit of Pope Francis to the youngest country.

President of the Conference, Bishop Yunnan Tombe Trille explains that after two-day meeting, they came out with the motto: “I pray that all may be one” taken from Jesus’ quotation in the Bible.

Bishop Tombe explains also that the dove over the map of South Sudan indicates desire of the Holy Father for peace to prevail in the young country.

He says the handshaking below the map, represents reconciliation of the people of South Sudan.

The President of the Sudan and South Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference was briefing the media in Juba during the launch of the logo and the motto of the visit of Pope Francis early July.
