Activist urges South Sudanese people to accept transparency and weakness

South Sudanese must be transparent, clear and accept their weaknesses, says an activist in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State.

Fr Simon Khamis Mabe urges citizens to express themselves openly to gain strength to realize a change in life, building trust and confidence, Radio Easter reported.

He says in the upcoming elections powers should be given to the population to decide on what to be done.

Khamis says for the leaders to win the trust for upcoming elections and get confidence of the people they need to put the rule of law in place, respect people’s opinion and freedom of expression.

The activist adds that the will of the Father is what is in heaven and must be done on earth, urging for peace, joy freedom and harmony to gain people’s trust.

The activist made the remarks in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State.
