YEI COUNTY STARTS SUDAN SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMS

Yei River County department of education science and technology this morning flagged off Sudan School Leaving Certificate exams in Yei Day Secondary School, the only centre for exams in the county.

County secondary education supervisor Lumor Moses said there was another centre for the exams is in Kajo Keji County and a third one is Loka Secondary School in Lainya County, Easter Radio reported.

He added that the exams were prepared in Khartoum and will be marked there after the candidates finish the papers within nine days.

Yei Day headmaster David Lumori urged all the students to use only blue pens for answering the exams adding that green, black and red pens were strictly for examiner’s use.

Yei River County commissioner David Lokonga Moses urged all the candidates to be steady, patient and read the questions well before answering.

Yei River county has 108 candidates sitting for the exams.
