The SPLA today accused northern forces of bombing two sites south of their common border.

SPLA spokesman Philip Aguer told SCR News over the phone that a northern Antonov aeroplanes bombed two areas in the West of Raja County, in Western Bahr al-Ghazal state, on Monday morning.

Mr. Aguer said there were no injuries.

Last year, the north bombed the south while chasing Darfur rebels they said were being supported by the semi-autonomous southern government.

The south accused the north of arming rebels in its territory with clashes killing hundreds of people this year alone.
