Eastern Equatoria deputy speaker denounced rumors in the parliament that Ngaluma deprives other low areas of water.
Paul Napwon was addressing the guests at Ngaluma gravity water project site yesterday, shortly before the inauguration ceremony, Emmanuel Radio reported.The deputy speaker condemned rumors that Ngaluma project diverts all the water to Ikwoto leaving people in the downstream with water shortages.
Mr. Napwon testified after witnessing the truth that the biggest volume of water is flowing down stream.
He advised rumor mongers to abandon their baseless allegations.
Mr. Napwon praised the contribution of the funding partners especially Finn Church Aid and Caritas for their tireless efforts to provide safe water for the people of Eastern Equatoria state.
Ngaluma gravity water system was officially inaugurated yesterday at Ikwoto freedom square.
