Smoking in the public is unhealthy, callers of Don Bosco Radio in Tonj South County of Warrap State complained.

They during ‘Morning Wishes’ program on Thursday raised concerns of smoking in the public which causes unhealthy life to persons who do not smoke, Don Bosco Radio reported.

James Mbiya Sebit, advised the cigarettes and nickel tobacco smokers to be publicly sensible in taking it.

He urged the drivers to stop smoking while driving because it will not be healthy to their passengers and would affect their businesses.

Another caller, Thondit Kuch from Mapel, appealed to the smokers to move away from the public if they feel like to smoke because it make other people passive smokers.

“He warns the drivers and passengers against smoking in the public cars because it is dangerous for human life, why don`t passengers travelling by planes don`t smoke while travelling? It is because they know it very dangerous so the same to the cars and motor bikes”.

Lorris Tong Machar who called from Juba urged the cigarettes, nickel tobacco and other harm drugs takers to refrain because they are not good for body function.

Tong requested the entire youth of South Sudan to stop smoking in order to make their future bright.
