Rotary Club encourages people to donate blood to save lives

Members of the Juba Rotary Club are encouraging the public to donate blood to save people’s lives.

George Gore told media in Juba that donation of blood is one of their activities to care for the needy.

He stressed that many people lose their lives due to blood shortage.

National Immunization Program Director at the National Ministry of Health, George Auzenio Legge called for continues donation of blood to save lives.

“There is an improvement in blood donation by South Sudanese with South Sudan Red Cross efforts”, disclosed Yohanna Michael, South Sudan Red Cross Blood Donor Recruiter.

On Sunday, the Rotary Club of South Sudan celebrated the World Polio Day and the Blood Donation activity was part of the event.
