Western Equatoria State National Member of Parliament or MP and Council of States have proposed the government to open a magistrate court to handle issues of conflict in Tombura.

The proposal was during a consultative meeting on the issue of Tombura conflict.

Angelo Beda says the meeting aims at getting support from UNDP and well-wishers to join hands against the ongoing war in the area.

Beda hopes that once the mobile court is established, it will deal with criminals killing innocent citizens.

He calls for capable police to arrest perpetrators.

“What is necessary is to establish a mobile court, a magistrate court. We didn’t know those who killed people, but the people who are victims, they know who killed their brothers. They will be allowed and requested to come and open cases against”, Beda insisted.

The MP calls on the people of Tombura and Western Equatoria State at large to join hands and bring peace.

The consultative meeting brought all the National members of parliament and Western Equatoria Council of States to come up with resolutions to end the conflict.
