Leadership using biblical principles workshop concludes in Yei

Two-day workshop in leading using biblical principles conducted by Samaritan’s Purse on Saturday in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State.

The training which aims at developing and deepening leadership capacity by discussing leadership concepts according to biblical perspectives than from cultural, draw in together over thirty participants comprising of traditional leaders, security organs and County authorities.

Biblical Leadership Samaritans Purse Program Manager, John Mudienkunge, explained that their work is targeting government officials, community and religious leaders to influence attitudes to leadership, Radio Easter reported.

Representative of the participants requested the county government to have more training provided to build trust between armed forces and civilians.

Civil-military relations director in Yei, Michael Machar, called on the organized forces to cooperate among themselves to avoid overlap of duties.

Yei County Attorney General, John Wani, advised leaders in their various capacities to build confidence with civilians by avoiding arbitrary arrests.

The speakers gave the remarks during the closure of a two-day workshop in leading using biblical principles in Yei.
