Juba orphanage needs 25,000 Sudanese Pounds to send 46 resident kids to school.

Siena Wederburn, who is a volunteer at the orphanage, told SCR News that institution caters for 69 children and 46 are in school age.

She said the orphanage held a number of community fundraising events in Afex River Side Hotel in Juba on Sunday and it was able to raised over 2,000 US dollars.

Ms. Wederburn, who manages the hotel, added that the money will cater for school fees, uniforms and bags.

She said 34 children were already registered in seven schools, both public and private.

Ms. Wederburn added that another fundraising event is due on Saturday at Logali House Hotel and at the orphanage home.
