Security operatives arrested two staff of Foundation for Democracy and Accountable Governance or FODAG and took them to unknown location, according to Jame David Kolok, Executive Director.
He says more than ten soldiers stormed his office on Wednesday afternoon and arrested the staff, Radio Bakhita reported.
David accuses some police officers of extracting 800 US Dollars from his staff around the ministry’s road early Wednesday.
The Executive Director reveals that the security suspects that he is a member of the organizers of the protest that was supposed to take place on Monday this week.
David distances himself from the protest claiming that he is innocent.
People’s Coalition for Civil Action on Monday called for a nationwide protest against the transitional government over what it calls “failure to deliver services to citizens”.
