The Minister of Roads, Transport and Bridges in Western Equatoria State, is appealing to the public to remain patient as the government resumes constructing the roads and bridges.
Annan Tuna says the government is expected to construct Yubu Bridge, Sakure road and others, to connect farmers to the market.
She claims that part of the approved budged by the state government for the construction of the bridges was used to buy tractors.
The Minister says she is waiting for the second withdrawal of the money to complete the construction.
Annan Tuna appreciates the state ministry of Physical Infrastructure and UNMISS for the support.
Tuna recalls that UNMISS was opening a water channel.
“What is delaying the work now is money after second withdrawal the work will start”, said the Minister.
She promises government’s commitment to work hard to finish building.
