NCP and SPLM representatives agreed to seek jointly the relief of Sudan’s huge external debt.

GoSS Minister Gabriel Changson Chang, who took part in the six-day negotiations between the SPLM and the NCP near the Ethiopian capital, told SCR News that the two parties will write a joint letter signed by Omar al-Bashir and Salva Kiir to the international creditors seeking for a debt relief.

The International Monetary Fund says Sudan has a debt of almost 40 billion US dollars.
