Fr. Leoncio Omina Okwormoi of the Catholic Diocese of Torit assures believers that there is no room for hatred and war in the love of God.

He says Christians should refrain from bad practices including enmity, jealousy and live in the equal sharing of God, Radio Emmanuel reported.

Fr Omina adds that God’s love is to each and every one despite the physical appearance in the eyes of human beings.

“In love there is no room of hatred no enmity no war no jealousy no trouble we will be able to share things equally so John is telling us that whoever is without love dose not even no God why because God is love may be today let us pray that everyone must love the way Jesus love Jesus love us whether we are ugly  in the eye of men and women but in front of God the beauty is in the spirit that God gives us we must be reflecting the love of God in us because God has love and gives us Jesus Christ his son so he die even for us because he has die for then we have become his member the member of his body the Church”, he explained.

The priest says God has no hearts of discrimination, but treat every human kind equally.

He advises Christians to live according to the law of God so that they are to be called the holy in the life to come.

“It is important for us to know this that God have no favourite God does not discriminate he does not raise some people alone and all of us when we have the opportunity for faith and in hope from what faith we have receive therefore we become among those elect we become the holy one we become the chosen people of God in baptism because we have to worship God in the spirit and the truth and the holy spirit is actually together the father the son in the spirit is actually became one God so this is a very important teaching to us therefore we have to ask the good Lord today to broaden our mines of understanding in this teaching of love”, Fr Omina said.

The priest made the remarks during his homily to worshipers at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral on Sunday in Torit.
