Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO in partnership with Center for Inclusive Governance, Justice and Peace launched a Transitional Justice Resource Center in Juba on Wednesday.
The Center is a program supported by UNMISS to raise public awareness, equipping civic actors with knowledge in regards to justice, Radio Bakhita reported.
CEPO’s Executive Director, Edmund Yakani, says the Center focuses on human rights violation and justice related issues.
Executive Director of Center for Inclusive Governance, Justice and Peace, Jackline Nassiwa, stresses that the Center will localize the transitional justice process.
She adds that it will convey information to the people especially women.

Chapter five of the Revitalized Agreement stipulates the establishment of transitional justice institutions and full representation of women in these institutions.
