Wani Igga urges citizens to embark on agriculture to boost economy

Vice President for the Economic Cluster Dr. James Wani Igga is urging citizens to embark on farming in order to boost the dying economy of the country.

He told Radio Bakhita that achieving peace is paramount for the country to start focusing on other aspects such as development.

Dr Wani Igga says citizens must stop dependency on the oil and improve the productivity of the country saying through agriculture prices can stabilize.

The Vice President adds that oil prices are currently low in the global markets, but there is hope that they will rise again

South Sudan is currently operating Revitalized Government without a budget for a fiscal year.
