Tonj East County Commissioner announces that at least two people have been killed and over 300 cattle raided in the area.

Speaking to Radio Don Bosco, John Deng Kok confirms that two young men were reportedly killed by armed youths.

Deng says investigations are ongoing to return the stolen cattle to the rightful owners.

He advises the deceased relatives not to revenge but wait for government’s intervention to bring the culprits to justice.

Paramount Chief of Luackoth Community Malou Jok Bol explains that the two young men were ambushed on their way to the grazing nearby swampy area and were shot dead on spot.

The speakers made their remarks to Don Bosco Radio on Tuesday in a telephone interview in Tonj.
