The National Congress Party or NCP on Wednesday suspended its chairperson Agnes Poni Lukudu allegedly for sabotaging activities of the party.
The chairperson of NCP in Lakes State Peter Machar Agok told journalists in Juba that Poni continue to postponed meetings and elections for four years, Bakhita Radio reported.
Machar says NCP’s Secretary-General Mathew Mayor Ayoung will lead the party on interim basis until a new chairperson is elected in September.
Efforts to get a comment from Agnes Poni Lukudu were futile as Bakhita Radio’s several phone calls to her telephone number went unanswered.
