Former commissioner of Morobo County in Central Equatoria state Paulino Dada John was laid to rest on Tuesday in Yei.
The parish priest of Christ the King Tom Poru Martin during the requiem mass says God does not intend to bring suffering to his people.
He adds God strengthens Christian’s hearts when there is suffering.
Brigadier General John Lual Tong told mourners not to forget the children of late Paulino Dada.
‘As we live in this nation we need to help our late Paulino, now our government is still giving payment for many of the late people’s children. Why do we do that because we need their children to have the money to continue living’ says Lual.
The brigadier Lual acknowledges various forms of violence in the area.
He adds currently the military court is on-going to punish the culprits.
He assures citizen of government’s commitment to hold perpetrators to account.
The speakers made the remarks during the burial of late Major Paulino Dada who passed on in Juba after short illness.
