US donates over 2 million dollars to South Sudan for covid-19 response

United States Government has donated two point two million US Dollars to South Sudan through International Medical Corps or IMC to help in the fight against corona virus pandemic.
 
US Ambassador to South Sudan Thomas Hushek on Friday told the press that his country earlier donated seven million before to make 9.2 million US dollars.
 
The donation will assist in fighting against covid-19 and other health areas.
 
Undersecretary in National Ministry of Health Dr. Mayen Machut Achiek appreciated the US government for its generosity. 
 
The officials spoke on Friday at Dr John Garang Infectious Disease Unit in Juba.
