Vicar-General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei Zachariah Angutuwa Sebit urged the government to continue setting rules that protect human life.
 
He said Christians and citizens in the country has defined obligations, Radio Easter reported.
 
The Vicar said the people of South Sudan want basic rules that protect all their rights in the nation.
 
Fr Angutuwa reiterated that as South Sudanese celebrate the ninth anniversary of the country’s independence, the challenges are of stress and are not good.
 
Vicar General Zachariah Angutuwa Sebit, who was preaching at Christ the
King Cathedral on Thursday in Yei said that ‘God will disarm our hearts to change because human being is not an object’.
