The national Minister of Environment and Forestry Josephine Napwon Cosmos is appealing to Eastern Equatoria State citizens to preserve natural resources found in the area.
She said massive destruction of natural resources will lead to environmental hazards.
Destruction of forests in Eastern Equatoria State is one of the challenges her ministry is facing, the minister pointed out.
Napwong called on state leaders to intervene and end the unnecessary cutting of trees in the forests.
On the other hand, minister Napwon reminds Eastern Equatoria State Governor Louis Lobong Lojore to consider inclusion of women in the upcoming government.
According to Napwon women leadership can only be achieved in the country when both girls and women are given a chance for education
