There is no political party in South Sudan that has accounted its member for taking the resources of the country for his personal interest or corruption, said Stephen Robo Musa, Bahr el Ghazal coordinator for Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO.
An activist pointed out that lack of accountability against any political post holder by the country is hindering the development, Voice of Hope Radio reported.
SPLM spokesperson Joseph Moses Ugido believes that the national government has full mandate to carry out all necessary accountability that every South Sudanese ask for.
He advised the people of South Sudan to accept and support the national government.
Lack of accountability in South Sudan has encouraged all political post holders to loot properties and resources allocated for development, improvement of education, health and infrastructures.
The speakers made the remarks to Voice of Hope Radio during the Saute el Sabah morning program.
