Chairperson of Morobo community in Yei says the returnees in Morobo County are in a dire need of humanitarian support.
Egidio Taban explains that the returnees are in need of food, shelter, farming tools and medication.
He mentions the returnees are overcrowded and the ministry of health guideline of social distancing is not maintained.
The chairperson requests humanitarian organizations to immediately carry out assessment and intervene to rescue the suffering population.
Taban requests the government to provide protection and security to the returning population in order for peace reign in the country.
He adds if those returning voluntarily are not taken care of, it will be difficult for those in the camps to come back home.
