The governor of Central Equatoria State Emmanuel Adil Anthony says the government acknowledges the suffering of refugees in the neighbouring countries and the internally displaced persons or IDPs.
Speaking to Radio Easter over telephone governor Adil says peace has come and the government knows about the challenges facing South Sudanese in the refugee camps.
He appeals for voluntary return of the refugees for resettlement and rehabilitation.
The governor calls on those still in the bush to care about the lives of people of Central Equatoria State.
‘Time has come now to address our grievances through national dialogue, war cause more destruction, the result have been seen from the people of greater Lainya, I call on our brothers and sisters to adhere to the cry of our people for peace and address their problem in peaceful way’, the governor explains
He assures citizens of government’s commitment to persuade peaceful option to address indifferences in the country.
Governor Adil was speaking to Radio Easter in an exclusive telephone interview in Yei.
