International Organization for Migration or IOM inaugurates hand washing facility at Juba international Airport in bits to fight coronavirus.
IOM Chief of mission Jean Philippe Chauzy says his organization thought about installing the hand washing facility at Juba international Airport because many people come to the country through the airport.
He adds IOM will continue to work with the government of South Sudan to fight the pandemic.
US Ambassador to South Sudan Thomas Hushek says coronavirus has changed the previous way of life but people cannot give up from the fight against the virus.
He encourages people to continue following the preventive measures to fight the deadly disease in the country.
Meanwhile Director of Juba International Airport Kur Kuol appreciates IOM for the initiative to fight the pandemic
He adds Juba airport is a busy place for many people coming from different countries and people may easily get the disease.
The director calls on people to make better use of the hand washing facility to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The officials made the remarks during the inauguration of hand washing facility at the airport on Wednesday in Juba.
