CTSAMVM expresses concerns over violence involving parties to agreement

Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring and Verification Mechanism or CTSAMVM expresses concerns over the current increase of violence in some parts of the country involving parties to the agreement. 
 
CTSAMVM’s Deputy Chairperson Major General Dafaallah Hamid Mohamed told journalist that his organization is worried about clashes in Maiwut, Central Equatoria, and Western Equatoria State.
 
He adds they are closely monitoring inter communal clashes in Jonglei, Greater Pibor, and other areas.
 
The deputy chairperson says the forces at cantonment sites have not received food since October 2019. 
 
Dafaalla reveals that graduation of the army on training sites is expected to take place this month.
 
Meanwhile South Sudan Opposition Alliance Senior Representative Major General David Nyang says the soldiers in the cantonment site are suffering from hunger and lack of shelter.
 
The officials made the remarks during the CTSAMVM monthly report meetings in Juba.
