National Bureau of Standards in Wau to remove expired goods from market

The National Bureau of Standards or NBS in Western Bahr el Ghazal state launches a campaign to remove expired goods and drinks from markets in Wau town.
 
Acting Director of NBS Wau branch Francis Ibrahim Patricio says there are some drinks from neighbouring countries which does not meet the required standards.
 
He cautions citizens against consumption of such drinks because it may affect their health.
 
Ibrahim mentions they have collected many boxes of drink especially Sawasawa from the markets.
 
The acting director advises traders to cooperate with the standard bureau officials to remove the expired goods.
 
He urges citizens to check production date of any goods before buying to avoid using harmful products.
 
The official spoke to Voice of Hope radio at his office in Wau.
