Youths of Catholic Diocese of Yei carry out general cleaning on Church grave yards at St. Joseph the Worker Lutaya parish.
Yei Town Clerk Towongo Alex Tobias told Radio Easter that they want to pay their tributes to the deceased by clearing the bushes around the cemetery.
Rosemary Modong explains usually Christians at St. Joseph including nearby chapels used to mobilize themselves to clean the church and the cemetery but because of the lockdown the initiative was put on hold.
Mawa Martin Bashir says as Christian they are entitled help the needy and do charity work.
While youth Chaplain Fr. Marcello Jungu Gaitano applauds young people for this initiative describing it as very important.
Another Youth Lokule Santo Augustino says the initiative is a guesture of showing solidarity to the needy.
He encourages young people to give psychosocial support to each other during this difficult time.
Many Christians who are farming within Lutaya area joined the cleaning exercise at the grave yard.
